Bio: Chantal is a Provisional Psychologist and has completed a Master of Professional Psychology.  She is in the final stages of her internship in order to gain full registration. She has experience working with children, teens and adults seeking support for anxiety, dissociation, trauma, grief and loss, relationship challenges and mood stability. In addition, she works with clients who are funded through the NDIS presenting with a broad range of mental health needs. With children, she enjoys using ‘Kimochi’s' to aid in the safe and fun exploration of emotions.

Chantal brings lived experience and professional experience to her practice, with her years of working with women’s trauma, dissociation, and OCD. She takes a strength based, person-centred and collaborative approach to her client care.

She uses evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and an Emotion-Focused lens. She has a specific special interest in structural dissociation and complex trauma presentations in women. She enjoys working with cultural diversity and is LGBTQIA+ and is neuro-affirming in her approaches.

Chantal has a genuine passion for helping people to enact change in their lives, particularly when they feel stuck. She is warm and compassionate, aiming to work alongside her clients and all their ‘parts’ to create a sense of change and stability. She does this by adhering to an systemic framework and views her clients holistically.

She is available Mondays until 7pm and Wednesday mornings at CHELSEA.

Counselling with Chantal is ineligible for Medicare or Private Health Fund rebates.
