BENEFITS OF ONLINE PSYCHOLOGY

If the everyday demands of life or work are making it difficult for you to access support and guidance in dealing with mental health concerns, you’re not alone. Finding time to attend counselling in a suitable location based on where you live or work can be incredibly challenging.

However, this shouldn’t see you going without the help you need. Thankfully our telehealth psychologists are here to help through online counselling in Australia.

Providing clients with the means to access the care they need and deserve, online therapy allows you to speak with a trained professional from the comfort and privacy of your own home and at a time that suits your schedule.

Able to support you with specialised mental health care and wellbeing support, our online psychologists, located in Melbourne, can assist with a wide range of concerns including but not limited to:

- Trauma

- Grief

- Anxiety

- Eating disorders

- Workplace issues

- Depression, including postnatal/postpartum depression

- Relationship difficulties

- Family conflicts and more.

Working with all ages and genders and with both male and female psychologists available through our online services, we ensure our clients can benefit from professional, compassionate care no matter their circumstances.

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN SEEING OUR PSYCHOLOGISTS ONLINE

At Port Phillip Psychology our online sessions mirror the face-to-face experience. Handled with the utmost sensitivity we’re committed to providing a safe, confidential and judgement-free environment at all times.

All our online psychologist appointments are booked with highly qualified and experienced psychologists and delivered via secure phone or video call. During your initial session, your psychologist will take time to learn why you are seeking help and provide reassurance regarding the next steps.

We recognise that mental health is complex and that working through the challenges posed by various mental health issues can be overwhelming. While the option to speak with a psychologist online can help ease some of this, we remain sensitive to the fact that pursuing therapy can still be a difficult undertaking.

Understanding this and knowing that effective counselling relies on mutual trust and collaboration, we work with you to determine the best approach for your needs. Committed to ensuring you feel encouraged and supported at all times, we regularly review your progress and adjust our methods as required.
