What is Counselling?

Counselling is a confidential and professional service that assists a person to overcome issues that are making them stressed, anxious or unhappy.  There are different types of counselling such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness.

Individuals, couples or families seek counselling on a range of issues such as Depression, Anxiety or Relationship Issues.  At Port Phillip Psychology counselling is with fully qualified psychologists who have attended University for an average of six years and have extensive experience. Psychologists follow a Code of Ethics and must participate in further training and supervision throughout their career.
